Macy’s Return Policy & Exceptions – Macy’s return & Refunds policy

Any product or item purchased at Macy’s must be returned within 180 days of your purchase. Products and items that you want to return must be in their original condition. And note that shipping fees are not refunded. In order to receive the complete refund, you need to provide the original receipt or credit card you used for the purchase. The refund will be made in the original form of payment. If you made the purchase with the gift card then you will get the refund in the form of a store credit.

Items purchased at Macy’s store can only be returned or exchanged at that store. Visit the store, provide the receipt or credit card or gift card and get the refund for the purchased item. If you are not having the receipt don’t worry, you are still eligible for returning the item but the item’s lowest selling price is refunded within 180 days as a Store Credit. For an online return, you must visit official portal. After starting a return in online, you will receive a shipping label to your email. You need to print and attach it to the item and then you have to drop it off your return item at the UPS Store or Dropbox.

There are few exceptions in Macy’s return policy for items such as area rugs, cosmetics, fine jewelry, watches, and a few other specific categories. Apple Smartphones purchased at Macy’s must be returned within 14 days of purchase and all other Apple products must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Some items purchased come with a bonus gift. When you wish to return that item, the bonus gift should also be included as well. If you want to keep the bonus gift with you then you will be charged for its value.
